There has been no official announcement as to why WOL has been down for the last 2 days.  However, rumors are spreading and threads are being spammed on the Generals Official Forums as people are eagerly awaiting news from EA, which is currently preoccupied with the recent 1.6 patch for Generals.  Apparently, EA's connections with AT&T have been attacked.  This is why North Americans are the majority of people claiming WOL to be down.  AOL users and some people in Europe and Asia (mostly Korea) are experiencing similar problems.  There is also talk that EA pulled the plug on Renegade completely, although that is not nearly as likely.  I will keep you posted.

All people can really do now is use Gamespy Arcade.  For those who don?t know, GSA is free.
