Its not been long since the last update (4.10) was released, when Sony have now released v4.11 (which is required to sign into the Playstation network). The patch seems to fiix just a few minior issues. I really wish Sony would group the patches together, and fewer larger patches. It seems there is a patch every few weeks now.. well, I guess at-least Sony are keeping our PS3 up-to-date at-least.

It doesnt seem long ago since the last PS3 update, yet Sony have rolled another entitled v4.10. In this version sony have tried to improve the web-browser (more pages work and faster), added automatic time/date sync and renamedPlayStation®Network account to Sony Entertainment Network account.

The update is required before being able to sign-in. I really wish Sony would bundle a few of these updates into one large patch.. well atleast its being updated a guess.

It seems like yesterday that I updated the PS3 to v3.6, yet today another patch makes it way out called v3.66. The patch is rather cryptic about what it actually does, as the only feature seems to be that System and network stability has been improved. I guess Sony knows what that actually does.

Its been a long time since we seen a patch on the PS3 add anything big - remember way back when trophies were added? I personally like to see trophy score list or trophy %'s (Wouldn't be good to see your 50% done of a trophy rather than all or nothing?)

The patch is required to log-in onto PSN.

I thought id post about Street of Rage 2 on the store, as I found out it has trophies in it! You can download this game for free (since nearly everyone is now a plus member). The game has the normal PSN trophy count, but well worth a download - even just for some extra trophies! I just thought id post encase you miss it. You may of thought it didnt include trophies!

The welcome back is live on the PS store now, where you can download 2 free games (from a choice of 5) and a plus membership for 30 days (some of the content it seems your be able to keep). The 5 free games are (the list below is in order of what I think you should get, if you dont already have/played it):

- Infamous (amazing game, a bit like Uncharted meets GTA4 in some ways),
- LBP1 (They were giving copies away with everything, however if you missed your chance then get LBP1!),
- Wipeout (I havnt played it yet, but I know there was a lot of hype about it. I know its a racing game with guns),
- DeadNation (its a bit like Burn Zombie Burn but bigger, darker with coop play),
- Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty (this isnt a massive game but very enjoyable. btw no trophies - if important),

As well as the 2 free games your be able to download some plus stuff for free, however you will only have access to the games as long as your a plus member (look like you can keep some of the other stuff like 2 themes and some avatars). You also claim your plus membership from the welcome back pack as well.
