This is because im removing sub-domains (ie. forum.roguey.co.uk), and replacing it with roguey.co.uk/forum. There are a few reasons for this change: - The sites are united (one big site), rather than being small singular sites, so hopefully will do better. - No more log-in for each section, all you need to do is log-in once! - Web-master wise, I dont need to keep creating separate things for each site. Just 1 will do everything now. - Makes more sense, I have tried to keep the amount of errors down, however if you notice a broken or damaged page, please let me know and ill fix it. To me the home-page was a bit of a mess. I didnt know what to put on it, so I just put a Flickr and Facebook widget on it before. I have now moved them to the side, making way for news reports. These news reports cover news from all the site. So checking the front-page is a good way to see whats happening. The next update is to My home - which now lists all your rewards. The reward icons are click-able, giving your a detailed description of the reward. Before the update, the rewards where tucked away on another page. The last addition is Facebook integration. You can now like a news/forum post. I will see how things go with the Facebook integration. Anyway, I hope you like the new changes. So with some investigation, I have now replaced the navbar on the X3AP, X3TC, X3 and the main site with a pop-up version. The new pop-up version allows me to actually put more items (short-cuts) there. I hope this makes navigating the sites easier. Borderlands 2 promises an overhauled mission system (that should mean less checking-in missions.. ie. back-tracking), more varied/unique weapons and better skill system.. it looks very interesting: Borderlands 2 is set for release on on September 18 (in the US) and 21st September in European countries, unless anything changes. You may think that a search function isn’t very important; however this could save people from re-posting questions which have already been answered. So, today I have coded a new search function for the forum. During my coding I found the code for google custom search, so I figured why not have both? So now, the forum has gone from 0 to 2 search functions! My system simply searches on thread names, as it’s meant to be a quick search, whilst the google search is a bit more detailed, searching through pages. You may already seen the flash in the main ship section, however I wanted to use flash for the individual ship pages as well. Its been a busy recently, so I havnt had much time coding with flash. This new flash shows the ship flying past a planet. Technically its the same planet, however using a colour filter I am able to change the planets colours.
