Powerplay released

Today Frontier have released v1.3 which includes 3 more ships, reworked missions and the powerplay update.

Lets start with the 3 ships. In v1.3 you will find 3 more ships, which are the Imperial Courier, the Diamandback Scout and Diamandback Explorer (the bigger version). These ships are aimed at the medium size.

Next, the re-worked missions. For a long time I never really bothered to look at the missions simply because they werent worthwhile. Now in v1.3 they have been re-worked, so they should be worth checking now.

And finally, powerplay - the main focus of v1.3. Powerplay introduces 10 new characters where you can pledge your alliance to, in-return gaining unique rewards.



In preparation I have been working on a new section on the site - powers. In this section you can show your support for a power (by clicking pledge) and communicate with other supporters via a chat system (which can be used for instant or delayed chats). I was hoping that it could be used to help fellow supporters. I did originally have a comment system there, but felt that a chat system might be better.

To be honest I wasnt expecting powerplay to be released quite yet, so I thought id have a few more days to complete the section. However ranking, pledging and chat are working.
