I'm running steam through CrossOver on my M1 and encountering this error:

Please make sure you have DirectX 9.0 or higher installed. Also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements, and that you do not have the hardware acceleration diabled in the Display control panel.

How can I get around this https://vlc.onl/ ?
