Why are there no more futuristic strategy games like C&C Red Alert 3? Since that series died out, it feels like no similar game has come out. A futuristic game with a story, where you have to build, where units have special abilities, etc.

Or do you know of such a game?

I've played through RA3 & RA3 Uprising countless times, and eventually, it just becomes repetitive...

The decline of the futuristic strategy game genre can be attributed to shifting gaming trends, complexity barriers, and a lack of innovation. While there may not be a direct successor to C&C Red Alert 3, there are still some futuristic strategy games worth checking out, such as Company of Heroes 2, Stellaris, Age of Empires IV, and Total War: Warhammer III.
