Just installed and had a quick game start so not had time to explore the universe yet.

The game is running far faster and thats a major plus point..

A couple of things you could fix that Egosoft fail to address even though I have posted on the dev forum is the Teladi Kite; M4+ ships have 25 mj shields apart from the basic kite for some reason and the advanced kite version doesn't have enough energy to fire it's lasers.. If you want a good laugh, just goto the Teladi shipyard in Seizwell and compare price and performance of the kite and normal buzzards and you will see what I mean...

Why do Ego always bugger up Teladi and Boron ships Confused

I never knew about those ships, so they didnt get modified unfortunately - I thought egosoft would of 'fixed' any issues like that by now. I did change a few other ships.

Keep us updated on your progress with the mod!

Had a little play around. I see you have made shields more viable and you can dogfight to get your shields back up like the good old times. Anyhow I went exploring and got myself the advanced Barracuda from Hila's joy and decided to go check out yaki space.. I see you have added the phi and chi back although you cannot buy them from the yaki shipyard in senators badlands.. Saw some pirates that had been playing with yaki and and got my ass handed to me after taking one down by the usual missile spam, I managed to shoot down 2 missiles before I saw the game over screen Big grin Will have another play later..

Hi there,

In a way its hard to re-balance everything with Terran Conflict, because are they certain things you can not change or fix - like the missile spam. However by the sounds of it, I have improved the game some what?

Are you enjoying the mod?

Aye just moved and stuff, had no internet and had to re-install flaming windows vista (yuk) so didnt have any patches for tc till now..

Hi.. Testing out your mod, so far so good, it's pretty fun. Smile

Been going at it for a few hours now, and discovered a sector called hideaway or Hidout, am abit tempted to steal your comand ship.. :P

Anyway, seeing where it is located will it conflict with 'a new home' plotline, when I get that far?

oh, I didnt know that sector was used for the plot, although not sure it would cause any problems.

I just wondered, since both the playerowned sector is beeing generated north of the unknown sector east of zyarths dominion, and Hideaway is also north there..
Will report back when I get that far, but will take a while, due to Hub and stuff. :P

Hopefully it wont cause any problems. I added the sector before it was used by egosoft otherwise I would of placed somewhere else.

Your mod is pretty stable and fun so far. Smile

Only problem I've experienced so far is that the game is allways crashing, whenever I use TESC's Salvage Command Suit-mod to order ships to pick up other bailed ships in Aldrin, however it's only that particular system.

It works fine to claim ships there by ejecting and do it manually, but can't do it remotely, not even while beeing out of system.

So it might be an issue with that particular mod, conflicting with yours., but have only experienced it in Aldrin so far :-/

Aldrin is a horrible system tough, with that big rock.
So no big loss, I don't expect to be there a single second more than necesarry.. :P

hmm.. that does suggest there is a conflict between Salvage Command Suit-mod and the my TC mod. The thing is that my mod changes a lot of things and sometimes another mod changes things to something else. When my mod tries to reference the changed code, TC/X3 doesnt like it and crashes. Its a shame X3/TC doesnt give a error message.

Have you tried the mod without any others? ie. to see if its more stable.
