Auto Hull Repair System

After battle, captains wanted a way of repairing a ship without having to return to a shipyard. Scientist researched ways of repairing the hull using nanites. These miniature robots slowly move the hull back into place, then fuse the hull back-together. Given enough time they can fully restore a ship's hull.
