Mission farnhams legend

i got a mission from a space station sending me to the depths of space in farnhams legend, treasures and dark horror at co-ord 11008, 27904, 7111 but i don't seem to be able to get there has anybody else come accross this ????

hi there,
is that 3 different sectors? I only know of Farnhams Legend. The other 2 sounds like they are from a mod?

i've not learnt to install the mods yet so its a virgin game and yes the mission was directed to farnhams legend how do you get to the co-ords ???

hi there,
if you need to move to set position in a sector, use the command Navigation->Move to position in your command list. Select the sector, then use the arrow keys on Numeric keypad to move the pointer (you will see the coordinates at the bottom right of the sector map). You will need to 'flip' the map around to get third coordinate (check your keyboard short-cuts for this key).
I hope that's what you meant.

Also, the coordinates in the sector map are in km which is 1000m, so divide all your numbers by 1000.
So the proper coordinates will be 11, 27.9, 7.1

thanks for the help i seem to have lost the mission now so will have to wait till it comes up again

oh well, like you said it will probably come back up.
The ship specs just means any of their weapons/missiles will be in English rather than ??? - ie. its not really that useful unless you use thier ships, missiles or guns.

thanks the mission popped in a differnt sector it was just an abandonded ship still more credits for the pot hey has anyone ever won the lottery on this game ?? lol

some people have won egosoft's lottery - buts very rare. I did add my own kind-of lottery to which had better odd's of wining but lower prizes.
If you ever win that lottery, then the game becomes very easy - breaks the whole point of trading/station building.
