External docking?

I've seen a few posts all over the place about loading TSes into carriers. Are these just users of Alkeena's lovely docking mod, or has vanilla finally added external clamps on to common capitals? If so, which ones?

Somewhere out there is a Cobra Mk III with my name on it.
It isn't mine, some rando actually wrote my name across the side of his ship...

The new Guppy and Ariane (sp?) M7C's also can dock TS's. I haven't looked a them IS to see if docking was internal or external though.

EDIT: They do indeed dock externally

I'd assume external; fatty ships like that don't fit in the default hangar scene.

A few ships can but its hard list that stat in the ships pages. After-al some ships come with an mix of hangers and external docking. So you could say a ship could dock up-to an TS however people may think the ship can dock like 6 x TS, when it can only dock 1 x TS (external) and 5 x M3,- (hanger).
