I have a problem with the convoy mission, I've reached 'absolute monopoly' level I got my convoys to protect but didn't protect all the ships, I do not recall getting the pay the difference message and now in my missions list the convoy mission is still there but I cannot talk to the person nor are the convoys anywhere to be found, without completing the mission I cannot seem to proceed with the plot ??

did you give it a little time for the message to come in? plus have you checked the logs to see if its been already sent?

Time yes I've completed the Argon v Terran plot in the time by destroying my 50 Capital ships, I'll have a closer look at the message log but as I say the mission is still in my missions list as unfinished so I'm confused dot com

Now also checked back through every message in my log, the share payment for the strong box is there & then nothing.

Since you have done other things in the meantime, this may have clouded the issue. Sometimes the ships you have to escort get so damaged it takes an eternity for them to reach their objective. Do you have guidance on the mission enabled? Otherwise it seems like a reload!

AFraid I'm already thinking of a reload it just won't happen, the mission shows go to a station but the contact says nothing, no ships going slow or anything so may as well re-set and start again ah well it'll keep me out of mischief for another year or so. Thanks for the input anyhow at least I joined this site.

Sorry we couldnt suggest much to fix the problem. The best way to stop this from happening is manually save every-so-often, switching between 2 or more save slots, with an auto-save too. I guess something happened to the ship, so the MD cant find it - and so cant end the mission. Although there isnt much we can do if that's the case.

Thanks already restarted from scratch, lesson learnt will use the first 5 saves to save games through the plot such that I'll never have to start totally again.

So, I have the XRM mod installed and I'm working on Shareholder Mission 4. I have now been jumping back and forth between the convoy systems for four days (apx. 9 hours of play) I've killed at least 60 Yaki but nothing is happening as far as the plot or completing the mission. Both main Mammoth ships are completely stationary with no engines running and I'm not sure what to do... Am I just stuck and need to abandon the game?
