I planning a long mission to Sagittarius A* and returning via Colonia, planet scanning all along the way. I have a Krait MKII outfitted for exploration and combat, the problem is I don't have an engineered FSD. I do have a class 6A fuel scoop though. So I probably could go without the engineered FSD, if I can find fuel stars and stations.

How do I get an engineered FSD, and is there a website or app that will help with planning the trip?

Hi, Ive just returned from an expedition and I used an engineered Phantom 67 Ly range, other ships that can be used for exploration are the Asp X and Diamondback X which both can have longer ranges. To do any engineering you have to first visit the engineers then grow your reputation with them it's a long slog. If you want any more help I'm Cmdr Marty22 in game.
