How do I kill a politician?

When I try to play the missions where I have to take out a politician, such as in the "wet works" missions, I always get killed because the politician always has friends with him. Am I suppose to catch him while he's alone or something? Thanks

Some missions arent really worth the hassle to be honest; youre better off finding something easier. You dont get anything extra for completing an harder mission.
