Sometime circa mid 3303, as the barrels of my trusty Vulture’s multicannons cooled in the hangar bay, I logged out, not knowing I wouldn’t be back for six years. It wasn’t an intentional decision- it just… happened. I was burned out on the game, I think. Hours upon hours of grinding credits in the local Haz-Res. Days, weeks, and months of flying between the same station, the same Haz-Res, back and forth, and still only fractionally closer to affording the distant, coveted dream of having the keys and deed to my very own Federal Corvette. Even after I had the money, there were still the Federal ranks to grind. It’d never happen, I realised. I couldn’t be bothered. Even if it did happen, what then? Where to go from there?
