With the spires shutting down and the thargoids in what can only be seen as a full retreat it seems humanity is on the precipice of victory. There's no new anomolys in deep space moving towards us. There's no new interceptors stalking hyperspace. Their ground forces as such are now just harvested for credits and experience. The fear of the thargoids has evaporated.
