I thought about why we will obviously never get ship interiors despite this being promised from the very beginning. With spacelegs it was a huge disappointment that we can walk in carriers, stations, ground settlements but not in our very own ships.

What are your speculations why Fdev realized that they won't implement this?

My best guess would be that it maybe could become difficult while the ship is flying. On carriers you can walk but when the thing jumps you get force teleported into your seat if you don't walk there in time. Maybe for some reason the engine doesn't handle walking in a moving object very well?
