So the time of Elite Dangerous books is sadly long past, but people like Drew Wagar are still keeping the vibe alive (like in his new Hegira Saga).

But what other books/authors do you feel carry that same quality? Could be serious, could be humorous, could be both https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/ ?

And what do you qualify as an Elite Dangerous "vibe" for books in the first place? The focus on a small crewed ship? The galactic politics? Alien threat? Human-centric setting? What elements matter and what are more optional to you?
