When trying to connect to our IRC channel, im getting the error

Flash policy problem. If you are the server owner, please read www.lightirc.com/faq.html#security. You need to install a flash policy daemon at flash.wyldryde.org (port 8001).

I guess there's a problem at their end, hopefully it will be fixed soon. Is the IRC channel working with IRC program? I didnt really want to get one, as the web client was doing a good job before.

Yeah, I got that error few days ago but I thought it's my connection.

same today, is the server up and running nethawk?

if so, might have to look into a IRC client - although dont know what's a good one however.
