I've encountered a frustrating issue while playing X3LU. In some sectors, suns have a weird black square background that overlays everything, including the HUD. This issue persists not only in the vanilla LU version but also when using additional mods such as XM:R + IEX + cockpit mod

This problem didn't occur for me when I played Mayhem 3 before trying out LU.

I should also note that I'm playing on Linux, X3 was installed from GOG and that I've already tried reinstalling X3, LU, removing and adding mods and editing .dds files in .cat archives that are related to suns and sunflares.
