I installed a game in the mid 2000s that was very fun, but extremely taxing on my system.
You started off with 5 or 10 workers that you could assign any job from stone workers, ironworkers, lumberjacks, farmers, orchard growers and eventually distillers that would turn the fruits into alcohol, etc.
The goal was to micromanage all your workers and reach the highest population you could. Eventually you ran out of some resources (usually stone and iron), and around 120 people my system would crawl, but I have a new system and would love to find this game again.
Any ideas? I believe it was available on Steam. It was developed by a single person, but that's all I really remember about it.

I then recommend that you play Megamon Global, which you can get online so you can download and start playing right away without having to worry about how to play. because it is a fun, easy-to-play, strategic card game that keeps players interested.
