Hey y'all, I took a long break from space games after burning out on elite dangerous and just picked up x4 yesterday.

My main question is this, how have you found the most fun in this game? Was it by following external guides and min maxing or is this game enjoyable to explore blind?

I simply ask because Ive been burned bad by the experience of elite dangerous. I put a lot of effort into learning it's systems through trial and error only to find it went nowhere and any progress I make will always be rendered useless by the next engineers https://xender.vip/ update.

Is x4 a game worth stumbling through or should I minmax and rush the content and move on?
