I've never played re4. I have only played re2 remake. Right now both the original re4 and the remake are on sale on steam. Which should I get? I'm playing on a steam deck if that makes any difference. There is also a 35 dollar difference between the two games so I'm leaning toward the original for that reason https://9apps.ooo/.

hi there, well Ive played the orignal on Steam - and enjoyed it, but havnt played the remake (I am hoping it will come to ps plus soon - maybe 6+ months). So I cant comment on the remake. RE4 is set in a village with priests, monks etc. - different than the normal Resident evil series, which was a welcome change for me.

The original does have some old graphics, so if youre hungup needing the latest graphics go for the remake - I heard some pretty good things about it. If you can, I would suggest getting both - the original isnt much extra ontop of the remake (with 75% off).
