Now which one would make a better picture for POTM?

No doubt the first one, as it has a more interesing caption. The caption, can if used incorrectly, break a very nice picture. We will take the following POTM pics with a watered down caption:

Now noting the captions, those look like a bunch of dull pictures. So let\'s get talking about what makes a POTM a POTM.

The image

The image is equally has powerful as the caption, if not more. When making a POTM, you want something original, which can (but not required) include something difficult to do in the game. So when you can make it look like a Stealth Tank is fighting against a Nod Officer in SP (MP is easy- Have someone be a Nod Officer and shoot your Stealth Tank).

Another thing- A CNC image does NOT (NOT NOT NOT) have to come from a CNC game-- For example, if you have The Sims, and you have the GDI-Nod skins, you could have something like Raveshaw kissing Hotwire!

The caption

Now, if you were going to have Raveshaw and Hotwire kiss, and were going to make a POTM out of it, you'd need a good caption; as stated before: The caption can help break a POTM. It could be something catchy, smart, funny, or simply something that people will remember. This part is not hard unless you make it hard. A simple caption for it: HOTWIRE AND RAVESHAW KISSING??? WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!!??
