First of all, 2 new GMTP updates!
#5:
Zzzz...Zzzzz....*snort*
*Yawn*
Eeek!...sorry guy's between working all weekend trying to get everything finished, time slipped through my fingers and I missed Fridays update
I know I promised to update you daily, but I spent the day running up and down the stairs trying to make sure everything was getting completed so we can get the discs out.
We are waiting on two more tasks to be complete...so I will give you more details later on today!
....back to running up and down the stairs...hmmm and MAYBE I might actually get to sleep tonight!

Just like a woman, a pre-release version of the game can be VERY temperamental
Until I am 100% sure that it's ready to go I am trying not to say "ok tomorrow"..."err, I mean the next day" then "No...no REALLY today for sure!" and have you guys be even more frustrated.
I will keep you updated as much as possible so you guys are in the loop, and not feeling like you are on the outside looking in.
We have folks that spent their entire weekend working 16 hours days making fixes, so be patient it will be soon....I know that easy for me to say...I get to play the game everyday, but trust me I understand your eagerness to play!

Then some qoutes reffering to #6:
Reading emails/entering your bugs = very predicable, emails come in we incorporate them into the data base, testers verify, programmers fix, testers verify fix, problem solved.
You're right reading 300 e-mails a day would be difficult...thats why in the instruction email you get there will be a password to "field report" area i.e. bug submission form.
Ol' Shan thought ahead, so once you fill it out I can quickly scan through it for duplicates and import it directly into the data base

Then for some other "normal" quote:
Unfortunatly not everybody has the same view point as eachother, in other words for every 2 people that say "Oh, crash to the desktop...it's ok, it's a multiplayer test, I will reboot and start again" there are 500 people saying "@*! another crash, stupid piece of #$%!...can't they get it together before they send it out!"
The very first impression is what people remember, and since this the first time you all will see it we are trying to eliminate the major problems.

Phew....long post!
