News still ain't going strong, wich is still all due to the beta test, everyone is just busy with it, however I managed to find some things:

Alot of new movies, wich Transnote can tell you more about over at Ren Gen

3rd, a warning for you testers out there, don't run unofficial programs, since there are some floating around that will steal your cd-key

As covered in the NDA , do not download and run any unofficial programs that modify the Generals MP test program in any way. There is a file out that modifies the resolution that Generals is displayed in. This program may allow your CD-Key to be shared with others and result in the deactivation of the CD-key.

As last, Shan talks about upcoming updates for the beta:

Wow, talk about a lot of bugs being generated, so far I have received well over 1000 bugs in less than a week. Many of them we already knew about but a few were new so I got to go downstairs and taunt the testers by saying "Hehe...look what you guys missed" did I mention they REALLY hate when I do that?

The programmers are busy fixing bugs while the designers are making balance changes, so we are shooting to have a patch ready by Wednesday. The patch will have many balance changes, a few exploit fixes *cough* unlimited SCUD storms *cough*, bug fixes and some general code clean up.

So far the number one bug reported is "The Radar Van is spelled adar Van in the Black Market"..thank you to the 568 of you that submitted it!

Looks like 2693 people have activated their CD-Keys from the original 3,200. That number should increase this week as the final GMTP discs arrive. A few CD-Keys have been banned due to login abuse, so once again remember if you see a program out there that modifies Generals in anyway...don't run it, it might pass your CD-Key off to someone else.
