Firstly, Ea France gave away Gen's system requirements:

Minimum Requirements (current)

Windows? 98, ME, 2000, or XP

DirectX? 8.1

1000 MHZ Intel? Pentium?

128MB RAM

1.2GB Disk Space

4X CD-ROM

64MB Graphics Card

56K Internet Connection (For multiplayer online)

Hmm....That looks more like recommended system requirements to me(If not, then that's a bit bad for some).

Secondly, Gen's Developer underground posted up a slight update:

Wow talk about being busy...it's been total crunch time here at EAP trying to finish Generals. We should have some files up soon for World Builder, but in the meantime Voodoo Extreme is conducting a readers? poll ? hit the site and give a vote for Generals!

The poll is the same I posted about earlier, as for the World builder, I can't wait to get my hands on that!
