Patch 1.5 Balancing list!

Harvard posted up a list of changes that will addres balancing in the upcoming patch, 1.5(No precise ETA yet.).

Dear C&C Generals players,

We will be implimenting several new balance changes to the 1.5 patch update as well as several bug fixes. Here is a tentative list.

1. Technicals will now allow infantry to fire from the rear side. Infantry will now die when the vehicle is destroyed.

2. Tunnel build time decreased 5 seconds from previous patch increase.

3. USA humvee projectiles now follow air units until they are hit.

4. USA paladin tanks laser damage increased (to even out imbalance of paladins vs rocketsoldiers).

5. Overlord tanks speed and damage upgrade available at propaganda center.

6. Migs now cost $900 and napalm upgrade is now $1500.

7. Raptors now cost $1100 and do 25% more damage before upgrades (One raptor can now kill one humvee.

8. Stinger site infantry can no longer be killed by any unit until the building itself is destroyed.

9. Chinese Gatlin tanks now have 25% less armor.

10. One super allowed per team.

11. Serious error fixed for certain systems.

12. 2v2 quickmatch for buddies.

13. Certain video cards on the non-supported video card list will be supported (list yet to be announced).

14. Auroas now have 50% more armor and move faster after bombs have been dropped.

15. Language filter update so it is more stable. Flood filters will also be implimented.

16. Firewall/nat issues eliminated. We have decided to run the game off of two ports instead of 8. These two ports will be used by most internet providers so the firewall should not be an issue anymore.

17. Due to majority vote we have eliminated the quickmatch 800x600 resolution cap and allow any resolution. This means more lag for some games but this was a popular request.

Again, thanks for your continued patience. The list above is our current target but it may alter depending on how it goes over the next three weeks.

We can't promise a specific day right now but more info will be posted soon.

It is possible that we may split the patch up as some issues are easier to fix than others and we don't want to hold it up while we look for very elusive problems.

You CAN'T do one Superweapon per player!!! Gla can NEVER kill the opponents superweapon on their own, USA and China can by using their Generals abilities as well!

Technicals....
