WOL Issue Cleared

We have two news items that can be considered joyful news, today. First one is that Sonic Alpha, former staff member of PlanetCnC, mailed EA concerning the various WOL issues and received a reply:

Thank you for contacting me about Westwood Online. We are having issues with the log-in servers that validate your serial number. Currently, our techs are working on the log-in servers. They have not given us a timeline as to when they will be back.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

This is what is causing your "invalid serial number" error. Once the server is repaired you will no longer receive this error.

Please try again later in the week or you may wish to use a third-party peer-to-peer client such as GameSpy or Kali.net until it can be resolved.


Second joyful piece of news is, Sonic Alpha lives, Hurray!
