Yeah, this is what the webmaster had to say in the RA2/YR forums:


I know that you guys are mostly RA2 and YR players, however I do believe that this would be a good place for my to address the issue dealing with Statik Vision, even though it did not ever cover RA2 or YR.

Statik Vision, as of today, is officially dead. My host disabled my account, due to using up over 200GB of bandwidth in a little over 2 days. This is because of some large files placed on the server, and lots of downloads of it. I'm sad to report that Statik Vision will not be returning at all. I have lost all of the skins, forum posts, maps, and everything else - there's nothing I can recover, and it's not worth trying.

I do have plans for the future which will hopefully turn out great with some help, however I wish to keep these plans secret. (No, it's not the Generals Mod...) Expect it to be revealed some time in September or early October at the latest.


I'm deeply sorry for the inconvenience to all SV visitors and fans, however there's nothing I can do about this situation. I have been gone for a while, only back on Saturdays, and was not aware of such bandwidth usage.

I will keep the domain name until February 28th, 2003, and might update it with news or a redirector to a web site (like the Official Generals Boards or something) if I feel like it.


I'll still stay here, but will be gone for another three weeks except on Saturday's.

Again, I'm sorry about what happened to Statik Vision.
