Type 9 Heavy


The type 9 is one largest trade ships featuring an 8, 7 and 6 class bays. This allows it to carry up-to a maximum of 532 units of cargo. However it maybe worthwhile installing a shield into at-least the class 6 slot - meaning you will lose 64 units of space but will have some protection. The type 9 does have a few weapons to defend itself but they are for defensive reasons. It is one of the heaviest craft - weighting in at 1,000 tons, making fly like a brick and have an limited jump-range. This ship gained a second class 8 internal compartment in v3.0.
