I have been told you can buy a space fly, or five for capital ships and set an after burner hot key and make your ship go faster until the energy from the space-flies run out is this True?

Well that's not possible in a 'normal' X3 game. However it does sound like this:

hmmm.. its hard to say, but I reckon it should be okay. It depends what else is installed along side the bonus pack. You could always backup your X3 folder and save games, then give it ago. Then let us know if it works okay.

never had a problem with your mods and official bonus script packages .....so should work fine
