Can I capture a ship using the transporter device instead of a
a boarding pod in x3tc and do I have to be on that ship to command the
marines to use it or can I issue the command from my default ship.
in this case a Dragon?

hi there,
I thought the transporter device was only used to beam cargo (or yourself) to another ship that you owned. I never used marines in TC, maybe someone who know marines better could help?

Actually, yes there is a script that will allow you to do just that......
I use it all the time, it's called VC Teleport Boarding: Linkie.. **EDIT** Just discovered the download link for the script itself doesn't work...
Feel free to contact me if you would a copy of this script & we'll work out some arrangement to get it to you... **END EDIT**

I edited shield-settings from Nvidiums Ship hijacker mod, so I could use that for big ships and stations.
