Am I right in saying that money earned in Terran Conflict can only go up to 'Two Billion credits', because after getting to that much, whatever I earn from my stations or transporting people, as soon as I transfer money to my account it disappears, and I end up back with the original amount?

Right. You will lose any money transferred to an account that is at 2 bil. Need to keep it in other stations (such as the PHQ and Hub). It is important to note that if you set up a chain of money transfers, you need to set the limit under 2b. This is because there is a delay between the station receiving money and the next transfer. If you set it to 2b and the station is full, when money is transferred it will be lost instead.

You should be able to transfer it to a subaccount though. That option is found on the station command console. I think it is under CAG admin or something like that if you have the bonus pack installed. This account can hold over 2 bil credits but I don't know the exact amount.
