what does 'W' mean by ships license? Frustrating because the manual says nothing, the internet says nothing. I dont know what I did. I am using the Vidar and it appeared to left of the license whilst working for OTAS. Is this the health warning for the vidar as the description says?

You lost me at "ships license". No idea what that means. Do you have a screenshot showing what you are talking about?

Sorry. I meant ship ID, as it appears in the sector map and property menu. Cursor is pointing at 'W' in screenshot: http://postimg.org/image/p9pzhnjrv/

Ah ok. That means it is in your wing. IIRC you have to go into the ship command console to remove it. I think it is "Add to wing" and set it to "no" or "false". Been a while since I played. Note that this is different than assigning groups for ships using the color system. This is your personal wing so you can give them commands with hotkeys.
