co-ords system

Afternoon all

I wonder if some one could help, currently doing the treasure hunt missions and I am in Herron's Nebula, the co-ords I have for the data pod are 0,50,0. Every time I try and use the autopilot shift-c, navigation the move to position and then use the numpad to locate the co-ords, I cant lock on to 0, it will jump to either a -figure e.g -5 or a figure near it. eg 1 I am doing something wrong

are those measurements in km? or meters? 50 meters sounds very little although.

Do you really need to get that accurate? You can zoom in on your sector map, which does slow down how fast your cursor moves when using the number pad.
