i'll soon be in the market for an M1. anyone got any suggestions?

What do you plan on using it for? ie. fighter dock, mobile home.. etc.?

mobile home lol. i have RRF script running so i'll be supporting my allies when they need it and i'll possibly be doing some mining. can TS ships dock with any other type of ship? can i dock a single M6 on an M1?

Well I dont think you can dock any TS or M6's on any M1, just M3, M4 and M5. I did allow TS to dock into the internally in X3, but they would hit the hanger door while landing. I personally prefer having a group of M2's than M3's.

In terms of fire power the Tokyo seems the best.

so to run an M1 or M2 you pretty much need a support TS ship. i think theres a script for resupplying big ships.

the terran tokyo looks good but weapon loadout is limited and its a big bugger. the Colossus looks like my best bet. i like the look of it too

Pretty much, yes. In my X3 mod I sloved this by upgrading the complex HUB, shown here, TC HUB looks dated now (well to me anyway).

can you do something like that for X3TC? that'd be epic. it would the most popular script ever. i could get a mamoth and jump it around the universe after my fleet as a supply tender.

I could probably do it but its having the time to do it - atm this site is taking up a lot of my time, but I am getting things done slowly.

What about the Odin, or is that classes as an M0

The Tokyo is very slow, so it takes a while to get into battle, unless you change it in script editor.

best bet looks like the colossus. only slightly weaker shields and weapon loadout than the titan but it can carry 60 fighters. i think it looks better too. the only other one i like is an ATF but terran stuff is mighty expensive. just capped a pirate elite and blast claw. have you seen the elite? its beautifull!
