So i have been having a problem with 2 of my traders where they won't level up for some reason. I verified my cache files today and I had 5 bad files. after i fixed that one of them decided to do his job, the other still wont listen.

instead of talking to him. i think i should just execute him in front of all my other low level traders as an example. do you think this will motivate them to do their jobs right?

A suggestion from the egosoft forums:

If I get LTs that do not do as I wish, i set them as UTs.

They think they are promoted,but I forget to tell them about the Q :twisted:
- "TTD"

Sounds good. I made sure his cargo was clean and "promoted" him at level 10.

He finally gained 2 levels! Now he is jumping around with his new JD. Its so weird though. He has been at level 10 for ages. i even trained up another local trader from 1 to 20 in the time it took him to go from 10 - 12.

Sounds like your threat worked Wink

Probably wouldn't hurt to remind that trader of your's that there are a lot of dangerous sectors out there that he could be working in...and a lot worst bosses.

hey, well it happens sometimes. Good to hear you got him too level now. I find sometimes the local sectors dont have much to trade, so you do have to move them around abit sometimes.
