My first true love is amazing.
When I first saw her...I was knocked on my butt. I fell immediately in love. How could I not? Kiss

It goes way beyond her eye-catching shape or her obvious beauty.
It was her how she thinks and how much she has inside to offer a poor fool like me. Dunce

For months, every time I saw her my knees felt weak. I tried not to, but sometimes I would just follow her around like a dumb puppy in love...tripping over my own feet...never getting up the nerve to say something.
Finally, one day out of the blue, something inside of me broke down and I approached her. I started (or tried to) a conversation with her..and of course I made a complete fool of myself.

But I guess she was flattered and thought I was "cute".
Cute...she thought I was cute. My knees melted and I was completely hooked.
We started to hang out all the time.
Our time together passed like seconds, when we weren't together time was painful and endless to me.

Somewhere along our journey...we became "a thing". People got used to seeing us together all the time.
My days began and ended with her in my thoughts. Even her sister likes me!

And then it happened....we were both taking a little trip, totally enjoying our time together, away from everyone else. We had a destination in mind, but weren't in any real hurry to get there.
When we finally arrived at our destination...everything just stopped, the universal threads began to unravel.

There was HER.
A little beaten up, lacking some of the shine that I knew lay just below the surface.
I found out that SHE didn't have as much depth inside as my true love, but SHE was quick, strong, and could be very powerful in HER own right.

SHE didn't try to, but my heart had been stolen...taken away from my truest love.
I'm told that these things happen, that the Gods push, pull, poke at our lives seemingly for their enjoyment.

Ever since my truest love and I finished our little journey, our Treasure Hunt..we've spent less and less time together. I know that my truest love knows..and she understands. But the pain is still there...the memories of our times together haven't faded in my mind yet they are being, little by little, pushed aside.

My truest love 'Winnawick', the elder of the Blastclaw (Prototype) sisters still holds a place in my heart and never hesitates when I need her. But she knows she is no longer my "number one".

That space has been taken by 'Sol Treasure'...the Xperimental Shuttle we both found at the end of the Treasure Hunt plot.
I know it's possible that SHE will find someone else some day..but until then it's HER and I...against the Universe!!!

LoL I don't know TBH. Can't RE it for one. Has a weaker laser generator than my adv perseus (big ouchy!). I have issues firing 4x PACs for any length of time. It often runs out of juice before it can kill an M3.

But ofc you got speed and a nice selection of missiles not to mention the shielding and decent sized cargobay. With EMPCs its decent, but I can't hit the broad side of a Colossus with EMPCs.

Ah, well I can see the ship is not great for combat. However, I was referring to is its looks and how its been a large part of x-history.

I've been using my X-shuttle mostly to scan asteroids.
She's the fastest ship I have at the moment (not much for M5 fighters and not interested in a lot of the M4's).

I just checked her "bomb" load.
Besides the Spectre missile, she can fire Hammerheads, Tornado, and Remote Guided Warheads "heavy" missiles.

She is faster than any missile designed to take out ships of her class, and fast enough to dodge most weapons fire.

I think I will she how she does as a "bomber" against capital ships and some pain-in-the-butt stations I've come across lately.

Those hammerheads are scary. I'm scared to use them because I had a lot of bad experiences with them in Reunion. Thankfully they added the 2 second god mode for missiles so at least you can turn away before you run into it lol.

Sinxar, I agree with out a lot there. I brown my trousers if I see the unique look of a Hammerhead being me, you know it with the big green thread.

I had a few experiences like that too, with Hammerheads: "The Suicidal missile". I guess the 2 second thing helps a lot now. I dont normally use them pricey missiles as they are good sellers, as later on I cant be bothered picking them up lol.

If I see a Hammerhead in a cargo box I will go for it at warp 10, but as you say the "The Suicidal missile" it is. I launch them from a distance, if an enemy gets a few good shots on it... boom 50 % hull left. Luckily they take more of a pounding than an M5 class ship. It is annoying when they are chasing you and it takes a good few shots to destroy them

I have only used them at a distance...about 15 to 30 km away from my target.
I fire something else (cheater and easier to get) first, to get my target's attention.

I have sometimes fired small salvo's of them. But cautiously.
The 'ready to fire' delay isn't enough if firing more then one. The blast radius is a killer!
The first missile's blast will take out the following Hammerhead (or any other missile) if fire when 'ready to fire' lights up.
I usually hold off an additional 5 seconds.

The blast radius is a good thing if your/my target has close escort craft/fighters.

I was talking about the part when you launch one then ram it because you were flying too fast, this happened a LOT in reunion. At least to me. In fact almost any missile that was slower than your ship was a death trap. But yea all good points heh. I might go pick up some as I have yet to use them in TC.

I hadn't thought about that, Sinxar.
I've only fired Hammerheads and Firestorms from an M7.
