is there a way to resupply a tl automatically?

Yep. Use CLS software to set up a series of waypoints and transfer your goods to the TL. I do it all the time as part of my mobile mining fleets, and all my products from my weapon complexes are put into mass storage TLs by CLS pilots.

CLS 2 software, although I typically just buy both.
