I've been looking at Tracker Mine and the Squash Mine factories.

Are these 'usable' weapons or are they so-much dead cargo space like the Recon Drones?

It's not what someone has done..it's about what they are about to do!

Tracker mines are after my time so I don't know about them, but squash mines are for real. Can hurt too. They are stationary though, so they aren't super useful.

They probably are one of them items that are better when used against a player, rather than the player use them against NPC ships.

I was thinking about using them to block a Gate.
If they aren't going to be that effective I'll just lay out some Laser Towers.

I have only ever used mines once, but I was messing around with the Ctrl+H no HUD mode, taking some screen shots, and shot me mine... bad mistake.
