I found this information and thought I'd share it.
I've always been curious how much training it would take to 'star-up' my Marines.

Quick Training >>>> 3-6 points
Normal Training >>> 20-26 points
Advance Training >> 30-42 points

It's not what someone has done..it's about what they are about to do!

Worse thing for me is the amount of time it takes to train them - advance training can take donkey years! I know the time increases on their current skill levels. Even quick can take awhile when your marines are skilled.

I totally agree. I'm starring-up all of my Marines right now and it's taking forever.
But at least it's giving me the perfect opportunity to get lots more of the HUB Plot done.

With this new (to me) information I can plan out the training---and save some credits, too!
In the (recent) past, I've sent Marine into 'Normal' training when they were at 85 to 90 not knowing I should expect at least a 20 point bump.

It's not what someone has done..it's about what they are about to do!
