I posted in a ship-name thread over on ES site and I thought it would be cool to have (new/different) one going here.

If you guys are so inclined, post your ship/station/complex names.
Tell us if there is a reason for the names you picked.
Let us know what X game you're playing and what 'start point' you began with.

If you have a large fleet, like I do (280+ ships) you might want to break your list up into a couple separate posts.

I'm going to copy-paste my ES reply to save myself allot of typing.
I'm almost 110 game-days into my present TC game. I began with Humble Merchant.

Unfortunately I have boring names: I just put RF in-front of the name. The RF stands for Roguey's Force - just a random thing I picked ages back in like X2. However it will be interesting to hear what you guys use Smile

All I do is remove the "Your" and put a space or space+"*" for important ships that I use all the time and sort the assets window by name instead of sector. The space makes it appear at the top of the list.

I can barely remember my own name let alone potentially hundreds of unique names for ships!

I can't remember my old log-on names that's why I use my initials and location. When I need, I can just look at my driver's license and can log on anywhere ROFL
