I've been looking around and haven't (yet) found it.
I'm looking for a guide that lists the 'solar output' for each Sector.

Anyone know where there is one?

Just select the race and sector at the top. its the % numbers.

I'm honestly surprised you didn't know that. How is it possible to build a self sufficient complex without knowing that or using a complex calc?

I knew about the CCC and have used it for building all of my Complexes.

What I didn't know, or maybe it was that I didn't notice, was the pull-down at top with all the Sectors listed----and the solar out-put for each.
At least until you mentioned it. Confused

Thanks Sinxar for pointing out the obvious stuff that I completely missed.

Also at the top of that page on the right there is a "sector & suns" link so you dont have to work with that calc if you have something different. Here are some links for reference (mostly for my use).

Suns http://www.altanetworks.com/x3/suns.html
Roids http://www.altanetworks.com/x3/asteroids.html

No clue if this has the sun % in it or not. I perfer the ease of use of the online one.

You are a true wealth of information, Sinxar.
I've added most of what you've shared to my bookmarks.

**One thing, an edit is needed for the TC roid link. It's missing the "h" in the http.

A couple other sources for solar level data...

The Xadrian complex planner program (downloaded & installed, not an online calc) has that available as well.

In game, in the galaxy view, the sun level is shown (in the text window on the left, as I recall).

does the sun level really effect where you place a complex? after-all isnt ore/silicon more important?

ore/silicon, or how much crystal you can import, is more important, sun level mainly lets you figure out how many SPPs you need, like you mentioned once before

As yeni mentioned, you have to make adjustments depending on the different solar outputs.
(I'm referencing a self-sufficient Complexes here.)

In a 150% Sector you will need more resources then a 100% output sector. Even more for higher output sectors.
--Aladna Hill = 100% output with an XL SPP...needs 602.51 crystals per cycle.
--Argon Prime = 150% output with an XL SPP...needs 669.77 crystals per cycle.

More crystals needed means more silicon, and more food and bio-foods = larger Complex.
