Morning all
Looking for some advice, I am slowly building up my fleet, currently flying around
And making a nuisance of myself In a Dragon and have Nemisis in tow for back up
Just bought my first missle frigate an Argon Minotaur. Can anyone offer advice
On decent fighter ships, heavy fighters would be better, not keen on light fighters. Thanks on advance.

morning! 
well for me the best 'small' ships are:
M3+: Any really,
M3: Argon Nova cos of the rear turret (caused much trouble for you eh?) and 75Mj of shields,
M4: Argon Buster M size cargo, useful for transporting jumpdrives and is fast (good vs. M5's),
TS: Caiman super freighter, fast, big and lots of shields,
personally prefer M6's. M7's in XT are a bit of a mixed bag, cant dock and are 'big' targets to hit.

i think the best all rounder ship is the hyperian M7 i'm just building up my fleet to and have just managed to pick up my first destroyer (titan)
i was with the nova for ages and its a great ship till you get to the m3+ and now i'm hooked on the eclipse,
i use the dolphin super frieghter for cargo as its cheap and huge
roguey is the expert though and i wouldn't be doing so well without some great advice along the way

For some reason I mostly find the Argon ships best - I guess as they dont do anything badly just average

sorry to move off subject here in sector spring of belief it shows station debris but when you get up close it looks like a fully shielded working station am i loseing the plot here or is it undecover ??

hmm, it does sound like a destroyed station, although any chance you could post a picture?

just had another look at it and it looks like a boron station in paranid space, so do you take a screen shot ??

If I remmeber correctly press print-screen then look in your:
/My Documents/Egosoft/X3TC/screenshots
for the picture, you may need to convert it to jpg for the web.

You can press Prnt-Screen and then open Microsoft Paint and paste it in with Control+V then save it somewhere. Then you can upload it using ImageShack and hand us a Direct Link.. If you still plan on giving anyone a picture after the 6-7 months it has taken you to post it

Update: Unlocked this thread, as I have more to add.
I have found that the fastest M5 the Jaquar Raider is a brilliant fighting ship. I took down an M3 with it! I loaded it with 4 PACs and 14 dragonfly missiles, and max shields (maxes out cargo space) With the M3 i just pelted it with all the missiles that brought it's shields down to about 45%, i then kept flying past it at full speed, (596m/s) and eventually BOOM!
