I'm not sure if this will help (since I'm playing on a Mac) but I've found that after killing a big transport (with lots of escorts) that I have managed to more often avoid crashing the game by flying away from the battle (after saving, of course) for a short while and then returning to finish the escorts. I noticed that the game crashed most often if I tried to immediately maneuver after the escorts while the target transport was still in the process of disintegrating.

hmmm. that is odd. Do you have a save just before this happens so I can check it myself?

have you only had crashes in this instance(destroying transports, then immediatly attacking escorts), or has the game crashed when you destroy other ships as well?
i ask because i've had problems with crashes after destroying large(M6ish) ships with a fighter. i haven't been able to pin down what exactly is causing the game to crash. sometimes it does it after i take down a ship, and enguage another. sometimes it will crash in the middle of the dogfight, before i have destroyed anything, or after i have destroyed a few ships and have 1-2 left.
please keep us updated on any problems you have with the mod. thanks!

Roguey: Nope, sorry, no saves left. I overwrote the last crash and moved on. If it happens again I will try to send you the save.
jacer08: My game has crashed a few times going after smaller ships but usually as I was trying to maneuver rapidly and violently to avoid hits or hit the other guy. I can't say if is the mod or all the other scripts that I have managed to sneak into my Mac version of the game.

hi there,
well if you do get a save, please do send it to me. I not promising I can find/fix the problem, as mod is rather big and is very hard to find faults (especially ones which happen only every so often). It may even another script causing a problem?
