Pretty much what it says in the title. Examples: the ship I'm piloting can't seem to take energy cells from my own station / complex and AI ships cannot equip themselves with shields I produce or take / buy anything else. I'm also building laser towers but can't seem to get to them in order to deploy them

There's obviously a simple trick I'm missing...

Adding for clarity: This refers to normal haulers like Mercury class ships. The ships can dock, but there doesn't seem to be a menu to transfer goods.

hi there, do you have the Trading System Extension installed - if you are trying to buy/sell remotely? If the station is owned by a NPC, products are only sold and resources are only brought.

as for shields, ships can equip upto a certain size shield - for example if it says 25Mj, then it can fit 1, 5 or 25Mj not 125Mj etc. you will also need space for the shield too, as it will take a little bit of your cargo-bay.
