thanks for posting bozor. It does look very similar to X3TC with a few tweaks. Pleas let us know what you think and your thoughts are about it.

It is the hardest X game I have ever played. The main story is about Jonferco building trade lanes. hey find systems called Albion Alpha/Beta/Gamma/Delta. And make them their HQ. You can;t jump into to any sectors except Albion Gamma. This is because they are connected via trans-orbital accelerators.

You do missions, and throughotu the missions you see the Paranid, Taladi and Spilt join the Argon and Boron fighting the Terrans on the front line sectors.

It is a good game. Laggy in large sectors, (probably because of my system.) But overall ok. i will post more screenshots soon.

They have stockmarkets now, which work just like real world markets.

I hope it's not some missile spam contest like xtc and x3r.... Well I will probably get the box once it's released just for the story.. The x series really does need a rebirth though

I think you mean how fast ships launch missiles. I can lauch from a Argon Minoteur about 100missiles/min and take out a terran M2 (14GJ Shield, 6million hull) without taking a scratch they have over-done it a bit.

This is called Dead is Dead mode, only available when bought on Steam. If you die, you can't start from a save game

Roguey, the reccomened size for images is 700x something... to be honest it is easier to use the imageshack links, is there any way. That section could be used for posting links instead.

The imageshack images you post, I guess would need 2 pieces of information: the full size version and the thumbnail image direct locations. I guess ur okay with finding out these two?

[update] My first X3AP screen-shot:

first thing I noticed - bigger map! much easier to read in 1080p! I only got it downloaded, so its a bit of a landmark for after what could of happened - I could of left the whole community - so to see this is like seeing an old friend. Big grin

hmmm... a common glitch i see when Argon Command tell all ships to go to one sector.

lol, its usually the autopilot who doesnt look where its going - always fun those moments. Did you get the Boron Magalodon scripting or buy it?

well.. Here's the tricky part. I call it more of a Add-on Pack/ TC content remover than anything.

Where AP does add;
Larger Battles
30 new ships
"Re-balancing" lol
Stock Exchange
Only has 1 plot (AP is after the events of TC)
Small Improvements on the User Interface

It also cuts;
Corporations
All TC plots
PHQ
Saved games from TC, won't work in AP

Right now, I consider AP to be more of a sandbox game, and TC to be more of a storyline.

Egosoft supposedly said that in a few upcoming patches, they will add allot more content to AP, so its more balanced with TC.

I questioned Egosoft on the forums about the re-balancing. They came out with

Every shiptype is overkill in the hands of the player.
There is no point in even trying to prevent player-induced overkill. It's a sandbox game. The AI has to observe "reasonable" fleet sizes, the player does not.

Hello again!

I thought I would post some more images that I have collected. Now the previous pictures in this post were taken with my laptop (Intel Celeron - 3GB RAM - Graphics I would not dare speak of) now the new pictures are taken with my new system (specs in signature)

Unfortunately in my opinion the scrennshots don't do the graphics justice but hay ho.

The first image is my favorite image, I love it. It look so elegant, I even set it as my desktop!

The next images are of a battle between a Paranid M6 and a Boron M6... no idea why they were fighting.

I never found out who won, they were taking to long so I got bored and left.

The next were of a recent mission I did in Cloudbase South East - this is one of my favorite sectors to take screenshots in, the sector is a beautiful colour and works well with some ships. Some of the images are taken in my M7, some are taken in my M3 fighter.
