The first two links are broken. How new is your new rig? What do you think of using SSDs?

I bet thats much better than your old laptop. btw if you got a 650GTX, have a look for shadowplay - as you can record footage (with minimum frame-rate drop), then bung on youtube. Its free too!

I bet those SSD's are pretty quick?

My rig is just under a year old, I built it in Feb '13. The SSDs are just wow! They are so quick it's unbelievable. I used to run just the 60GB but know with the 120GB as my C drive and holding several games its never been quicker. I would seriously recommend going solid state. You can get 60GB for under Â£40. It expensive for 60GB but its worth it for your OS and a few games or programs.

I will have a look at shadowplay, and see about posting some videos.

IE/IEX makes both games look amazing for sure. I highly recommend it if you don't mind a modified game.

Yes IE/IEX is wonderful, I agree, but I've heard it cause's some bugs? If not, then I'll definitely install it myself.

Ya this one was a dead giveaway. Guessing XRM as well.

I really like how dramatic this one looks

It looks like the sector Three Worlds but I could be mistaken.

I've heard it cause's some bugs?

I don't recall having any issues with it, its recommended to start a new game though. Something about planet placement or something. here is a short post on it I put up a while back.

Nice screens. This mod really makes the game look better. Is it placebo effect or this mod enchances texture quality as well? If it wasn't for steam achievements I'd use this mod immediately Big grin

Keep posting more. Do you use 4x or 8x anti aliasing?
Here are some of my pics. I've been around at Terran sectors buying Poltergeists for two of my ships. Although it's hard to obtain Terran gear, some of their ships are quite effective when commanded right. Made in Terran Conflict

Hey Martinez90,

Nice shots you got there. As for antialiasing those shots were taken a while back but from memory i was running 32x aa. Only used that for taking screenshots, while playing i usually use 8x aa.

As for the mod enhancing textures i dont think it does but im not 100% sure. In saying that it does give you the perception it does which is a good thing... Big grin

Should get some time to play over the next few days so 'ill take some more shots.

32xAA looks really nice Big grin

I might try that with my GPU, but I'm not sure if my old PC could handle it. It looks like the mod increases the texture quality but it may be just my eyes Big grin

That'll be great, also consider making some big battle video Big grin
