Hi folks! I just got one lovely Samsung Syncmaster 795MB for just 5 bucks! I'm in love with the thing, playing some Unreal Tournament 1999, Max Payne, Diablo II, System Shock 2, Mafia 1 a and all the old classics. My questions are:

1- Windows recomends me 1024x728@85hz for the desktop. I can go 100hz for gaming, but it looks weird in the desktop, I had to manually adjust the geometry in the settings, but even after adjusting, it looks a bit weird (at least in desktop) like it is forcing the monitor. Is it ok to use for gaming or should I use 800x600@100hz (which feels perfect in desktop) when gaming? (I only go to those high refresh rates for Unreal Tournament, having those super fast response times) https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/

2- Do anyone know about any site or software that can help me re-center the image, giving me references? It's ok but I feel like it could be better centered

3- Is it safe to use this monitor nowadays to write articles / read e-mails / social media? Because I'm using on a secondary old PC that only has 1 video output. Will I have any eye problems?
