I am not sure if it was possible before but post patch 1.3 I have been able to buy a fuel tank and fit it in an internal slot, giving me more fuel capacity.

yea, its indeed possible to add a fuel tank to an internal compartment now. In the beta I equipped an Anaconda with 500 units of fuel;

I guess that will make exploring a lot easier Smile

well alot less likely to get stuck out there with no fuel to go back to a sun that you can scoop Wink
